100 ounces of breastmilk wasted.
I’ve never worked harder in my life. Producing a stash of 100 oz of breastmilk took time, pain, and a lot of effort. I hate pumping as it is really uncomfortable and painful for me. Just as I finally built up a full freezer drawer of breastmilk, we found out Raffi is allergic to peanuts.
Since I’ve eaten peanut butter every day for the past eight years and I don’t know whether he’ll tolerate my milk anymore, I need to throw out the entire stash.
Cue the pity party for 1! I don’t mind that I now have to strictly avoid peanuts while breastfeeding, but I really mind that the breastmilk is now trash.
I can’t bear to toss it, so for now it sits cold and alone in a bag labeled “peanuts!” in big scarlet letters.
Here are 5 horrible things I’d rather do than throw away that 100 oz of breastmilk:

While I have my pity party, why don’t you tell me the things you really hate doing? Oh, and before you say I should donate it, I should tell you that it would expire by the time my approval would go through.
